Studio Visit // Wee Byre Studio // Craft

For my practice it seems appropriate that I should be visiting crafters and makers studio's, more so than graphic design studio's, as it is what I am interested in, what I want to do, and what I am good at.  I began by first visiting the 'Wee Byre Studio' which is an open studio of craft just up the hill from my village at home.

My village:

Wee Byre Studio:  Helen Houston creates mirrors and blackboards from upcycled driftwood she finds.  She also produces lovely photography prints.  It was good to see someone making a living from making things.
