A lot of Business Cards for graphic designers which I have come across so far are quite similar. There is a lot of typography, letterpress and embossing involved. As I feel like I have other skills to offer than graphic design, I want to translate that in my business card design.
A versatile and logical way of creating business cards is through the use of a stamp like below. It has a cool effect and means you can apply your logo to anything.
The image on the right here has definitely influenced my idea generation the most. The idea of a wallet means that there is more space for designing and I also thought that if you were to hand your business card to someone inside a wallet, then perhaps they'd use that wallet to store all the business cards they get handed and therefore, your business card becomes useful and is always at the top of the pile.
I like the simplicity of this design, and that little face is quite humorous and will stick in my mind.
